vlookup question

Worksheet A contains a list of say 40 employees and the employee #

Worksheet B contains a master list of all employee #'s

I am trying to verify if the names on worksheet A contain the correct employee #. I am trying not look them up individually.

How can I use vlookup for this? Basically, I want it to return a bad employee #.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Something like

=VLOOKUP(A3,Sheet3!A3:A100,2,FALSE)
