I have two questions

Cell H9 is equal to the charge per day, which depends on the type of car entered in cell B5 and the rate table.

I am supposed to use a vlookup function

Cell H10 is equal to the charge per mile, which depends on the type of car rented in cell B5 and the rate table.

I am supposed to use a vlookup function

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Typically there would be a table on another worksheet (the tabs at the bottom). See if you have such tabs, titled perhaps "per day" and "per mile". If so, it is likely they house the reference tables that have the rates listed.
From your primary worksheet, you would then enter a Vlookup formula that would go and look at those other worksheets, and retrieve the rates you need for a specific client / car.

There are numerous examples of Vlookup formulas on this site. Just use the Search tool on the top right of Mr. Excel web page, and research a few threads.

Hope that helps,
Gary
