What does this mean? I usually get the basic #N/A or a value but not sure why this was my result for every value that is "TRUE".

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
It would mean you are probably looking for a value in a column that your lookup table doesn't extend to.

Usually means that a cell being referenced by the formula is no longer in existence (it may have been deleted, or the row or column containing it was deleted, or the worksheet containing it was deleted).

I SPOKE TOO SOON!!!!! YIKES!

Ok when I change the column index to return a value in another column.. I get the #REF! error. The other columns have words and some numeric value.

Any reason why only column index = 1 works?

=VLOOKUP(G:G,Sheet1!A:A,1,FALSE) = SUCCESS
=VLOOKUP(G:G,Sheet1!A:A,2,FALSE) = FAILURE
=VLOOKUP(G:G,Sheet1!A:A,3,FALSE) = FAILURE
ETC.

In the formulas that fail, the table_array is just a single column. Also, the lookup_value should be a reference to a single cell, not a whole column. Try it (them) like this...

=VLOOKUP(G1,Sheet1!A:C,1,0)
=VLOOKUP(G1,Sheet1!A:C,2,0)
=VLOOKUP(G1,Sheet1!A:C,3,0)

And all I had to do was highlight a few more columns.
Thanks so much!!! It's definitely Happy Hours time!

Cheers
