Good afternoon,

I am building a VLookup formula that is to perform a different VLookup calculation, depending upon a selection box in another cell.

I want the first argument to look up C11. If C11 = 'NEW', then perform a certain VLookup calc.
If it is anything other than 'NEW', then perform another VLookup calculation.

Currently it works fine when NEW is selected, but when anything else is selected, it reports back as FALSE in my cell.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any advice?

=IF(C11="NEW",IFNA(VLOOKUP($A11,'SHEET'!1:$238,51,FALSE),IFNA(VLOOKUP($A11,'SHEET'!1:$238,63,FALSE),"")))

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Maybe this will work?
Excel Formula:
=IFERROR(IF(C11="NEW",VLOOKUP($A11,'SHEET'!1:$238,51,0),VLOOKUP($A11,'SHEET'!1:$238,63,0)),"")

Solution
Try this
=IF(C11="NEW",IFNA(VLOOKUP($A11,SHEET!1:$238,51,FALSE),"NA Found"),IFNA(VLOOKUP($A11,SHEET!1:$238,63,FALSE),""))
