Hello Cell wizards,
I'm looking for a Vlookup formula that will search for a numeric value and return text value. If the number is found then "ON LIST" if the number is not found "NOT ON LIST"

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
This should do what you are after:-
Excel Formula:
=IF(COUNTIFS($D$2:$D$4,A2)>0,"ON LIST","NOT ON LIST")

Technically you can drop the ">0" but I find it more intuitive to leave it in.
