Is there a way to modify the VLOOKUP function when the table is not sorted in Ascending Order?

### Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.

Use the False (0) as the last argument.

e.g. =Vlookup(A2,B2:C100,2,FALSE)

##### Legend
If you want an Exact Match, simply change the 4th argument to FALSE. The sort will no longer matter.
Example
Code:
``=VLOOKUP(A1,B1:C10,2,FALSE)``
The sort order will not matter
Remember, this is for EXACT matches only.
