Hello, I have a problem to solve as follows:

Column A has ID numbers 1 to 90,000
Column AV has the same ID numbers but in a different order.
Column AW has dates corresponding to the ID's in Column AV
Column I is the date column already with some dates that must remain

How can I use VLOOKUP or another function to search ID's from Col AV with Col A and trnsfer the corresponding date from AW into any blank cells in Col I

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
In a spare column (say AZ):

=VLOOKUP(A1,AV:AW,2,0)

in another spare column

=IF(I1="",AZ1,I1)

Then copy-paste values back into column I
