Spreadsheet with order numbers Column B , and dates (dd/mm/yy) column F .

Separate spreadsheet which need to do vlookup on based on day i.e. Monday, Tuesday..... not sure how to do a vlookup on a cell B2 which contains say 17/11/20 to the equivalent date tab ( Tuesday ) on the other spreadsheet '[Refunds Week 28.xls]Tuesday'!

Anyone help?

Following formula:

=IF(ISERROR(IF(VLOOKUP($B2,'[Refunds Week 28.xls]Wednesday'!$A:$D,1,FALSE)=$B2,"True","Not Found")),"N",IF(VLOOKUP($B2,'[ Refunds Week 28.xls]Wednesday'!$A:$D,1,FALSE)=$B2,"Y","Not Found"))

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
Hi Paul,

Can you please share a sample of your data set using XL2BB? it would be easier for us to understand the data structure and format, and accordingly recommend the formula.

Best Regards
