How can I perform a VLOOKUP with two criteria? I'm looking for one result but the result comes from a row with two matching pieces of data. I have a state abbreviation and a numeric county code and I want the formula to provide the result of the county name.

Data:
Column A: State
Column B: Numeric County Code
Column C: County Name

The formula needs to look at two variables on the same row, compare them to the data and then return the result of Column C.

Help please?

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Try this:
Excel Workbook
ABC
31StateCounty CodeName
32VIC3000Melbourne
33NSW4000Sydney
34TAS5000Hobart
35
36
37
38NSW4000Sydney
