Hi All

I have a question regarding a drop down list that pulls from a vlookup. (or perhaps a better formula)

I want to type in an address, and then have it give me the contacts of the household in a drop down formula.

Example: 1-3 (To pull data from) 6 - I type in Address 1, and it lets me know my options from the list. Thank you!!!!!

Excel Facts

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
So basically, you want two drop down lists

one in cell A6 that gives Options from A1:A3
Then Another in Cell B6 that pulls data from B1:B3 depending upon your selection in cell A6

Right?

A6, will pull automatically from another cell in my application, so A6 will be there.

B6 will lookup A6, and return the options related to that address.

Example: Address 1 returns the options Nick and Kara in a drop down. If I typed Address 2, it would return John and Stacy in drop down.

Simply do data validation in A6 and rest shall remain what you are already doing...

Try that

I don't understand. Maybe I'm not explaining myself well.

If I type Address 2 into A7, I would like the drop down in B7 to give me 2 options. John or Stacy.
If I type Address 3 into A7, I would like the drop down in B7 to give me 2 options. Tim or Sara

Thank you.
