In my excel sheet I have a part number (47-6) in one column and there are several workcenters assocaited with this part (Layup/Machining/NDT etc) in another column and the dates that these parts are to begin. My question, how can I have my formula to retireve the date by refrencing the part and the workcenter?

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Yes.
You can use concatinate in your lookup formula

Insert a column to the left of your data table (A). In that column use this formula: =B1&C1 (Part Number & Work Center)

Name your range A1:D (whatever)

You can use concatinate in your lookup formula

=vlookup(A1&B1,range,4,0)

A1 being the part number
B1 Being the Workcenter

Try to post 5 rows from the relevant columns.
