VLOOKUP

Excel keeps saying "circular reference." I don't understand why!!! pls help.

Hiya,

it says this when you are putting a formula into the same cell ie if(b2>0,b2,0) you will have to put the formula elsewhere onthe spread sheet if you need help, can you tell what you are trying to do ?

Post your VLOOKUP formula. It sounds like you're telling Excel to lookup a value in a range, but are using one of the values in the range as the search criteria.

Homework assignment... Hmmm.

Did you enter in A3 in Sheet2 something like:

=VLOOKUP(A3,Sheet2!A3:H13,6,FALSE) ?

What do you have in A3 and in Sheet2!A3:H13?
