In my document I have a drop down to select a system. (list). The next cell is contingent upon the first dropdown, and displays a list of part numbers and descriptions. This second cell also has a dropdown which I used table lables. Now in the 3rd cell I want to have the price of said part numbers be automatically filled in based on the table of the correct system. How do I do this?

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
Thank you so much for responding so quickly. Unfortunatley, I've been at this for 3 days and my brain is mush. I think I have 3 situations that have to be completed before i can get a price.

Systemtype accesstable/price/labor cctvtable ...
access (part #)/price/labor (part #/price/labor)

Sounds like you're looking for something like this:

I'm not going to lie, its complicated to do what I think you're trying to do, but it is doable. Might want to brew another pot of joe before taking a swing at it.

Also, to do this, you will probably need to be comfortable with the NAMED RANGE and DYNAMICALLY NAMED RANGES.

I had to have this bookmarked, and constantly refer back to it for ages before I could create these from writ.

Good Luck!

Check out the FAQ

It's not that hard, but it's totally worth the effort (minimal).

Now I need to go secure my existence by starting a fire for my wife before she gets home.

Post back when you get it figgered out. ;)
