Hey guys,

Im really struggling withn the Vlookup formular.

I want to find values with-in a list of data, for example

blue £100
green £50
red £20
pink £18
blue £50
pink £75

so if i want to find the total value of Pink, so i created a vlookup table

1 = Pink
2 = Blue
3 = Green
4 = red

i then listed next to the colours the correct numbers

2 blue 100
3 green 50
4 red 20
1 pink 18
2 blue 50
1 pink 75

then i wanted to make for example
1 pink =£93
2 Blue =£150
3 Green =£50
4 Red =£20

I cant get the vlookup to search though the list an pull the totals out.

can anybody help. or sugest another way???

Thanks xx
