Hi All

I am trying to create a Excel sheet for a Wage Calculator in Sterling £.

This would include my Monthly wage and also working from that what my hourly wage would be.

It needs to take in to account overtime worked and different rates and also work out the Total wage after tax.

Can anyone help??

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
I am after help on what formulas I can use to work the Hourly wage out from the Monthly wage along with how to work the Tax and Insurance out on the spread sheet.

Then provide some idea of the layout of your data, what data you have and what results you want.

So I have

Monthly Pay - £x amount
Hourly Rate - to be worked from Monthly Pay based on 37.5 hours per week for example.
Misc Items - This is things like pension/Benefits paid out before tax
Incentive - £x amount added to the total
Overtime payment - before tax and insurance
Total earnings - £x Amount
Then total Amount once Tax and Insurance % is taken away to give total wage for the month.
