Want to format Number to show 600,000,000 as 600

Trying to format a number in Excel 2007 to show 600 million as 600 instead of 600,000,000. I tried trunc function, round function but kept getting the same results. I also tried to use the formatting section but could not find an answer. Any suggestions?
