I'm trying to have a cell automatically update the value to reflect a week number based on dates.

For example: In cell A1, on 10/07/02 the value would be "41", on 10/14/02 the value would be "42". So when I open the worksheet on 10/21/02, cell A1 would be "43".

Thanks!

Bill

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

=WEEKNUM(A1)

The function requires that the Analysis Toolpak add-in is activated via Tools|Add-Ins.
