Hi,
So the database I have access to has an api - however when you follow the html link (which I can't provide for obvious reasons) using the data from web source option in excel, it opens a 'file open/save' window and puts the data into a new worksheet, when I really want it to download directly into the worksheet I'm on.
The API has the ability to change the URL to reflect JSON, PDF, Word, Excel or CSV (default).
What I want to do is simply have the worksheet access the API url and update the current table, not download seperate CSV/Excel files etc.
I've tried various options (load to current worksheet etc) but it still comes up with a 'file open/save' window when query or request initiated
Anyone had this issue?
Chris
