Weekends

Please can someone assist me with this one.

I need to calculate the time in hours from two dates, simple enough but I need to remove the following time from the calculation

1. The weekend (determined as 00:00 saturday - 11:59 sunday)
2. The days must be 08:00 - 16:00 or another predefined time

Any ideas greatly received.
