I am trying to create a spreadsheet that will allow me to enter pound and ounce values,
with the entry being assigned up to 5 sub entries.
For example:
Entry no. A22,B22,C22,D22,E22 then A23,B23,C23 and so on with each
having unique pound and ounce weights assigned to each entry no.,
there will be up to 150 entrys and when all are entered they will be matched according to actual weight,
but can not be matched into itself. Itself meaning the entry no. of the same numeric value.

Is VLOOKUP the answer? I would really appreciate any help offered on this issue.

Thanks

rarush,

Another thing you may consider is using 150 rows of data instead of 150 columns. That is if you mean an entry uses a column starting with A22.

Don't forget to describe what you're trying to do as fully as possible so you can get the best advice instead of just trying to get a vlookup formula that may further complicate your ultimate goal.
