Hi,
I am experiencing something quite strange with data validation and am sure someone will know what I have done wrong.
I have a stock sheet and within this is a stock use sheet. In the stock use sheet the user chooses the stock item from a list, I then have a VLOOKUP formula that looks up the item in a stock table and checks it is in stock when the amount used is entered.
The formula for the validation is =AND($M1=TRUE), this validation is present on the entire column where the 'Amount of stock used' is entered.
This is where it gets weird. If the user hits return or tab, the validation works. If the user 'clicks' out of the cell with validation into another cell, the validation will allow the entry even if there is no stock (ie the relevant cell in column M=FALSE).
Is this a known problem or have I done something wrong?
Thanks
