this is such a weird thing with this index and match I'm using!

I've got an index and match formula in a cell. the 'lookup value' of the MATCH is for a cell with a dropdown list. there are about 20 items in the list.

the index and match formula returns the correct values for most in the 'lookup array' except when the dropdown selection is a doubling of 25! i.e. I get 'NA' returned in the destination cell if I select 25, 50, 100, or 200 from the list! all other numbers, including other multiples of 25, return the lookup value fine!

and, yes, 25, 50, 100, and 200 are values in the lookup array.

anyone think of what this might be? I've gone through all the cells to make sure they're formatted the same

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Adapt your index match as such:

=INDEX(C:C,IFERROR(MATCH(A1,B:B,0),MATCH(A1+0,B:B,0)))

What's the actual formula you are using?
