Hi All,

I've got some strange behaviour on one of my sheets.

When I link one cell to another on a diferent sheet, Excel appears to be changing the location from a short on to it's full location, but adding in a date, eg:

=[Day16.xls]Summary!I4

is being changed to

='S:\@GMT-2011.10.25-11.00.56\MyFolderName\MyData\Daily Calcs\[Day16.xls]Summary'!$I4

No idea where the "@GMT-2011.10.25-11.00.56" is coming from.

Thanks in advance.

It looks like you're linking to a different workbook.
If so, when you close the other workbook, Excel automatically puts in the full filepath so it knows where to find the info.

I am linking to another sheet, and yes, it is adding in the full path to the sheet in question, which is fine, but "@GMT-2011.10.25-11.00.56" is not part of that path, no idea where it is getting it from.

Thanks for replying.

It looks like a timestamp for the file.

Have you checked the path to the other file in Windows Explorer?
