Basic question! =)

What are the -- for in the sumproduct formulas?

I've seen it in other threads and don't know what they do!

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.

They coerce TRUE/FALSE into 1/0 so that they can be multiplied. You could also add zero or multiply by 1, but the double unary minus is the fashion.
