What can cause Excel to flicker the screen for example?

I have never seen this effect so it would be awesome if you could show me or by a little code what can make screen flicker so much.

All macros I recorded are flicker-free, so I don't know any practical example, for what setting screenupdating to false would be helpful ( I mean flickering now, not speed)

So do you have any flickering macro examples? Thank you very much

Anything that means the screen has to change can appear to be flickering. For example, switching between sheets, or if you have a lot of on-screen formulas that depend on a cell and you change that cell value in a loop, your screen will appear to flicker.
