WHAT CAN I USE FOR PROTECTION?

i know how to protect an entire workbook and sheets.. but i only want to protect certain colums..? anybody?

Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

Protection only protects "locked" cells. By default, all cells are locked.

To unlock them, make sure your sheet is unprotected, highlight the cells you want unprotected, and go to Format | Cells | Proection and uncheck the "Locked" radio button. Then Protect your sheet.
