Hello Excelers,

I've thought It will be interesting to build a macro that is hidden, and intrigue self complete deleting of the excel file, if the excel file won't be located In a folder called "excelishere" and subfolder called : "all excel files".

would like to know what you think.

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
You may find this thread of some interest:Solved: Delete The File Itself [Archive] - VBA Express Forum

My own thoughts are that Excel security is weak & suggested approach in thread may work but only if macros are enabled. Most experts can work through workbook protection attempts in a very short order of time.

AS well as Daves comments, keep in mind that Deleting data, especially if it's company information has legal implications.
Remember, it's their data not yours !!

what a bummer I went study accounting instead of CS .. anyway, yea thanks I know all about your reminders,
I do think that you probably on the top 99.9% well skilled on excel. if someone will take the file and see it needed a pass he will give it to a well experienced folk or study himself. but if someone will take the file he probably execute It from another folder and subfolder and then after opening the file and see tons of codes and sheets it require only one time of enabling vba to say bye bye.
as you mentioned there isn't much defense on vba, so in my humble opinion its as good as it gets.

could u pls help with it ?
