Im trying to create an excel sheet, if you put a value of up to and including 6 in lets say A1 i want a value in B2 to be 10, also if the value is more than 6 and less than or equal to 10 in A1 I need the value to read 16 in B2 and so on. what forular would i use?
I can get it with the IF formular but it gives me the answer of 6 and 10 in the required cell.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
It does rather depend upon what "and so on" means. Perhaps something like the following?
=IF(A1<3,6,0)+(INT((A1-7)/4)+1)*6+10
