What is this between the formula bar and the column headers?

Hi there,

I'm hoping that someone will just be able to take a quick look at this screenshot and tell me what it is I'm looking at. I've never seen it before, and it has just cropped up on a template I came across. I've used an orange rectangle to indicate what I'm looking at.

From toggling between the 1 and 2 buttons on the left, or the buttons with a minus sign in them, it hides or unhides columns E to I, and J to N.

I'd love to know if there is a proper name for this so that I might learn a bit more about it and how to create it.

Cheers!

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Thank you! I knew it would be something simple, just needed to be pointed to the right place. Cheers Jonmo1
