It would be very useful to know "Who is online" at least on "Excel questions" forum. It is because this is the "heavy duty" forum and many times it is good to know when to post a question or send a reply, with no need to go back to main menu.

Regards,

Eli

That's already available. Look at the bottom of the Help Forum Index and it tells you who is currently online. Click on CURRENTLY BROWSING THE BOARDS and you can see which forum everyone is in.

Ah, I love when the OP edits his post and you end up looking like an idiot who didn't answer his question. I guess the lesson here is to always quote.

Sure. Whatever you say, Steve.

(Although the dates of the edit's also can be used as evidence in your favour :) )

I've been wondering about stuff like that myself, actually.

Another forum I go to just recently switched over to php, except there, if you go into the individual forums, it says who is also on that page.

Which they then played up for the first couple of weeks, with posts of "Hi xxxx!" just because someone was on the board with them :)

Down, Steve, down! I believe you!

I saw his original post as well (I just didn't bother to reply to it at the time). You are not insane :)<font size="1">Edited to fix the quote tags.</font>
