What option besides VLOOKUP????

When using VLOOKUP, the array/table must be in "ascending order" for it to work correctly...and the "lookup" value must be in the first column of that array/table, at least that is my understanding and experience...

But what if the array/table I want to use is not "arranged" in that way?

How do I get data from any column in a table based upon any other column without the "lookup" column of the table being in "ascending order" or in the "first" column?

My table covers A1:D35 (but may get "bigger" in rows, columns will remain the same). I want to pull the values from column D based on "matches" to column B.

Can this be done easily?
