When balance reaches zero, cross out date

Please help. I have a cell that has a balance in cell B1. In Cell A1 I have a date. I want to know if my balance reaches 0 can I have the date in cell A1 crossed out with a line through the middle of it automatically?

Sort by date Sort by votes
Select A1 and choose Format|Conditional Formatting from the menu. Condition 1 Formula is:

=B1=0

Click Format, check Strikethrough and click OK twice.
