No matter what cell is selected when my file is saved, my spreadsheet never remembers which cell i was last in and always seems to open with the the most random cell selected...even in different tabs/worksheets. Can anyone help??

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Welcome to the Board!

Excel remembers which cell(s) are selected on each worksheet when it was saved, unless you have code or an add-in that triggers when the files are saved or opened. If this is the case different cells might be selected.

If you save a file, but don't close it does the selected cell change? Does it always change the same way?

Do you have any code in your personal.xls file that might be triggering when a worksheet is opened?
