Where did my "SelectionChange" event go?

I am trying to get a macro to run based on a change occuring in cell C5 of sheet "Input Variables".

When I right click on the Excel symbol and click on "View code" I can see in the dropdown list that the events go from "PivotTableOpenConnection" to "Sheet Activate".

The "SelectionChange" event is not listed.

Is there some way to install this feature that I have missed? The company I work for frequently sends security updates, so I wonder if this feature was removed for macro security reasons?

Any help with this would be appreciated. I am a rank NOVICE at VBA, and barely understand my own macros once they are written, so please "be gentle"!

Thank you.

Xeroid.

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

Under ThisWorkbook you have SheetSelectionChange. Right click the sheet tab and choose View Code. That's where SelectionChange is.

Thank you.

Thank you. (Yep, I feel dumb!)

I didn't realize that right clicking the sheet tab gave you different options!
