I am using an add-in that is called AdvertisingGateway.xla and this is the name that appears in the menu bar. When I look at the Add-in toolbox where I would choose to make a certain add-in available or not, the name of this add-in is showing as RetailGatewayPP2.

Here's my question...where is Excel pulling this RetailGatewayPP2 from?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Having just spent a couple of days finding the similar answer I can suggest performing a search for *.xla or your particular file name on windows explorer and it finds every xla file on your computer. You will be surprised how many places they turn up in.

Name which appears in Add-Ins list could be entered in the Project properties for this xla in the VBE. If VBE project in this xla is not password protected you can see it.
