where'd my rows go?

I just opened a spreadsheet and my 1st 2 rows of data don't appear in normal or full screen edit mode. However, they appear when I do a "print preview". I've followed the MS HELP directions about hiding/unhiding rows and making sure that the row heights weren't collapsed. What's happened and how do I get Rows 1 & 2 to display for editing?

Try Window|Unfreeze Panes.
