Hello Everybody!
I've just got this new problem. In Excel, Excel used to always default to the Home Ribbon. Now, It defaults to the File Tab, with no ribbons. So, if i wish to enter something in a cell, I must click on the cell, and then click on the home tab(or any tab I wish) to enter something in the cell, then excel reverts back to the file tab. Every time I wish to insert anything, even just one number, I must choose one of the tabs, and then enter the number, and then choose the tab again, and enter a number, (because any thing I do on the keyboard, it goes back to just the file tab) this is really bad! If I try and enter a formula in a cell, every time I click a cell, it goes back to the file tab, so I must go back to the home ribbon, find the cell I'm trying to put a formula into, and then enter one more item into the formula, and then it goes back to the file tab. So I have to go back to the home tab, find the cell with the formula, and enter one more item into the formula, and then it goes back to the file tab...What in the world is going on with this new development? I have not done any updates or anything different, it just started.
Excel 2010
Thanks
Charles

Try the command to "pin" the Ribbon in its expanded mode. Then, if that isn't enough, go to File, Options, Customize Ribbon, Reset.
