Hi all,

I have two sets of data, one experimental, the other a prediction of the experimental data by a model

One piece of data looks like this, for instance:

G: 200
L: 250
Expl Height: 0.05
Model Height: 0.045

the next:

G: 300
L: 400
Expl Height: 0.025
Model Height: 0.021

etc., etc.

Can anyone suggest a type of chart which will allow the user to see how the model measures up to the experimental data? As my model consistently under predicts the 'height' value, a chart which can highlight this would be beneficial.

Ciao, a possible solution:

1) Arange data as shown in the worksheet below;
2) Select range C3:D5
3) Open Chart Wizard
4) Choose Column chart type, Clustered Column sub-type.
5) Go to step 2 of 4
6) Remove all data series
7) Click Add button and enter
7a) Name =Sheet1!$B$3
7b) Values =Sheet1!$C$3:$D$3
7c) XLabel =Sheet1!$C$5:$D$5
8) Click Add button and enter
8a) Name =Sheet1!$B$4
8b) Values =Sheet1!$C$4:$D$4
9) Click Finish
