I am looking to become very proficient with almost all of the formulas on excel in order to create templates. For example, I would like to copy and paste information from a webpage on to a sheet and have the template recognize the information. I will also be creating other templates. Any specific recommendations?

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
I am going to suggest a book that is not available here. You need one of the 3 huge books that describe all of the Excel functions. My recomendation is Patrick Blattner's Special Edition Using Excel 2003. He describes most of the Excel functions and formulas.

Thanks for the recommendation, I just made an order for this book.

My work is upgrading from 97 to 2003 very soon and I'd like a good reference book to learn what is possible.
