Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
I wish you all the best but I don't see myself volunteering my time viewing a video, trying to figure out what someone wants, dummy up data in an Excel workbook, solve the problem, and explain the solution here.

I imagine there will be those willing to do just the above {grin} but if not you may want to think about posting some sample data and explaining in words what you want.
