Something strange is happening:

When I type a number in any cell and press "enter" I get that number divided by 1000000. For example, I type 3 and it is converted to 0.000003

Any help will be welcome. Thanks

Jorge

The Fixed Decimal option allows you to enter decimal numbers without entering the decimal point.

Say you have a spreadsheet to record your bank account in dollars and cents. If you choose Fixed Decimals with 2 places you can enter 123456 and Excel will translate it to 1234.56. It's just a time saver really.

Thanks to you guys for your interest in helping me with the problem that I had with the fixed decimals. Is the first time that I participate in a forum (of any kind) and it was a nice experience. Believe or not, I have been working with excel for years, but I've never used the feature "fixed decimal". Every day we can learn something new.I apologize for my english. I am a very new english speaker.
