Why is excel looking for the userform within the previous file after I imported it to another workbook?

Hi guys

I exported a userform from one file and imported it to another file. When I launch the userform from the new sheet, it automatically opens the previous sheet. I tried renaming the userform, but it didn't work. Why is it looking for the userform in the previous file instead of the new one? I renamed the original excel file to something else and when I launch it now, it says excel couldn't find the file. Any solution would be very much appreciated.

How are you launching the user form?

I had a macro assigned to a button. I had that (sheet, with the button) copied from the previous file to the new one. I think I even renamed the macro as well.

You need to reassign the macro - it will still be pointing at the old workbook.
