Hi

I put the following formula into a blank cell. =A5*-1 and it converts from a negative to positive figure. I always thought that if I was to click on the bottom right of the cell I put the formula in it copies the formula all the way down the worksheet but it dont?

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Hi,

The Cell Fill Handle method of copying formulas down only works when you have data in an adjacent Column of the subject Column.
If the adjacent Columns ( Left or Right ) are Empty, it won't copy down.

Aaahhhhh right many thanks. That’s what I was doing wrong. I was leaving a blank column between last column with data and the column where I was copying the formula to. Big thanks
