Why is this a Run-time error 424 - Object Required?

I'm sure this is something super simple, but I can't figure it out.

VBA Code:
Dim addMe As Range
Dim dashB As Worksheet

Set dashB = Sheet1


Set addMe = dashB.Cells(dashB.Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Offset(1).Row

setting the addMe is giving the error.

You need to get rid of the .Row as you have declared addMe as a Range.
