Why isn't this simple division formula working?

I have two column..J & L. The range of cells of each with values in them is J4:J7 and L4:L7

I want to take the sum of L4:L7 and divide it by J4:J7 to produce a %

For example the sum of J4:J7 is1056...the sum of L4:L7 is 300....300 divided by 1056 = 28.4%

My formula in cell P3 is =(L4:L7)/(J4:J7)…..but I it comes up blank...no zero..no error..just nothing.

What am I doing wrong?!?!

=sum(l4:l7)/sum(j4:j7)

Now that the formula is working, how do I make it show up as blank if there are no values in the ranges? Im getting the #DIV0/! error.

=IF(SUM(J4:J7)=0,0,SUM(L4:L7)/SUM(J4:J7))
