why my Excel file saving and Opening Slow ??

Hi, Friend i am so worried beacause i have so many important data in Excel file. but before 3,4 week it s opening and saving speed is so down. dont know i update my excel file and update window but nothing work .. if any one have solution....please reply

back up your data.
if it has suddenly become slow there could be a hardware issue.
or have you added a lot of colored cells or many borders recently. if you sheet has not changed but is now slow i would be looking at problems with windows or hardware
