Why my Sumproduct - formula do not work?

Hello masters.

Situation is following:

in C2 there is date with time 1.3.2002 0:45
in C3 there is date with time 1.3.2002 6:00
in C4 there is date with time 2.3.2002 7:20
in G2 there number 23
in G3 there number 13
in G4 there number 11

In J2 I want summarize those numbers from G2:G4 where respectively days in area C2:C4 are day 1.

I tried sumproduct - function with formula:

=SUMPRODUCT((C2:C4=DAY(1))*(G2:G4)), but no result.

Try:

=SUMPRODUCT((DAY(C2:C4)=1)*(G2:G4))
