Why transposing fails using TRANSPOSE(), OFFSET(), INDIRECT()?

Hi everyone,

I want to transpose from column to rows the values in column A, the last element in each row would be those rows containing "Total=X fruits".
My thoughts almost work, at least I got the argument I was thinking I need within TRANSPOSE(), but is only given me the first element transposed.

-Below, formulas in first 2 ranges in green (C1:H1 and C2:H2) give the correct output
-But both formulas in ranges in red (C4:H4 and C5:H5) repeat the first element and transposing fails even when I think the argument I got through
OFFSET or INDIRECT is correct (I think). Maybe the format is not correct in order to work within TRANSPOSE().

How can be the correct syntax within TRANSPOSE() in order to get correct result?
Or TRANSPOSE() doesn't work with dynamic ranges?

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).

Maybe, instead of TRANSPOSE, you can use this formula in C1

=IFERROR(INDEX($A$1:INDEX($A$1:$A$500,MATCH("Total*",$A$1:$A$500,0)),COLUMNS($C:C)),"")

Thanks for your time and try to help me.

I know I didn't establish and didn't show complete output in my first post, I missed to say that the
final goal is to transpose each block (separated by
"Total=X fruits") into rows as below:
Excel Workbook
ABCDEF
1AppleAppleOrangeLemonTotal=3 fruits
2OrangeStrawberryGrapefruitTotal=2 fruits
3Lemon
4Total=3 fruits
5Strawberry
6Grapefruit
7Total=2 fruits
...

I still trying to get it without TRANSPOSE() because it seems is not working in that way.

I'm close, I'm getting the columns elements transposed into rows, only is missing a condition
to show empty when appears an element that is supposed to appear in next row.

So far I have:

Copy down and across:
#VALUE!
Entered with Ctrl+Shift+Enter. If entered correctly, Excel will surround with curly braces {}.
Note: Do not try and enter these manually yourself

Many thanks for your help Marcelo and idea of avoid to use TRANSPOSE() function, I got the formula that gives
the correct result, the only thing is, the final formula is a little bit large :biggrin:.
