Hi

When i use a vlookup even though it is correctly entered and all the data is correct, the outcome ends up being different to what it should be, also some of the boxes end up with Value and NA.

any help would be appreciated,

one of the formulas is below.

Code:
=VLOOKUP(H12,'Menu Data'!C12:D16,2)

many thanks

kristian

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
I cant see anything inheritantly wrong with your formula. Can you post some examples of your data set and what the outputs should be and what you are getting?

Please do not insert an image. Use Excel Jeanie - then we can copy from your post into Excel.

Are you copying VOG's formula exactly or are you inserting the spaces
you have in your first post
