in my office, all the excel files r stored on network server and we work on those files by opening from there, we have every right to edit, delete etc.
if i store any macro in my personal macro workbook and whenever i open any other excel file from network server, will personal macro workbook show and work on that ? Thanks

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
RIGHT, i will try it on monday, one more thing if the personal macro workbook show up on other excel files from network server and if it still doesn't work then what does it mean ?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "personal macro workbook show up on other excel files".

However, to answer your original question a bit better (:)), the macros in your personal macro workbook should always be available to you and once you open a file from your network, and you have full rights, depending what the macros do, they should be able to work on that opened file.

Of course if somebody else on the network opens a file, the macros in your personal macro workbook would not be available to that other person.
